FIND YOUR SOLID GROUND

I don't believe healing comes from fixing ourselves.

I believe much of what we are searching for is already within us.

Sometimes life pulls us away from ourselves.

Stress.

Loss.

Relationships.

Work.

Responsibilities.

Little by little we forget who we are beneath all the roles we've been carrying.

Nature gently welcomes us home...

Back into our bodies.

Back into the present moment.

Back into relationship with ourselves.

When we become still enough, we begin to notice not only the world around us, but the quiet wisdom rooted within us, that has been quietly waiting all along.

with a walk through the trees"

NATURE THERAPY

For over two decades I've supported people through anxiety, grief, burnout and life's many transitions as an integrative counsellor and nature therapist.

I offer nature therapy, walk and talk counselling, and outdoor therapy in Stockport, Cheshire. Whilst I also offer therapy indoors and online, many people notice that something gently settles when we step outside.

There is no pressure to sit opposite someone in a room.

No expectation to maintain eye contact.

Instead, we wander.

We settle.

We notice.

And somehow, alongside the trees, the sky and the changing seasons, conversations begin to unfold, deeper emotions are felt, insights are found and healing can begin.

WHY NATURE THERAPY?

There is something deeply reassuring about feeling held by the nature.

As we walk together, nature becomes part of the therapeutic process. A fallen tree, a winding path, changing weather or the flow of the river can often mirrors something happening within us. There is a gentle invitation to discover new insights without forcing any answers.

In the sessions I hold...

We don't have to analyse everything.

Sometimes we ground ourselves.

Sometimes we allow silence to do the work.

Nature never rushes.

She reminds us that everything has its own season.

Many clients tell me they find it easier to talk whilst being in the forest, than sitting face-to-face in a counselling room. This unique way of working makes therapy more accessible for those with Neurodivergency.

Being outdoors naturally supports stressed our nervous systems to settle, allowing difficult emotions or unhelpful thoughts to be explored with greater gentleness.
